and while the people wait they, er shop

Not really shopping as mostly we just received awesome donations and just a little bit of tip shop shopping…

an overhead projector that has already inspired hours of creative fun.

a display cabinet with H’s great grandma’s shell collection…

some bunsen burner stuff as Helena got into crayon melting – turning the unusable crayons into some cool and strange crayons… I tried burning a walnut shell (until the crayon in it melted) and a shell (also until the crayon in it melted) which was interesting.

and my sister gave us her book binding stuff which is way awesome..

I dont know yet what some of the bits do! but there is a press, a spine revealing thing that probably has some name, and joy of joys the thing that trims your pages so they are all even. We told a friend and they showed us some self published poetry books. So exciting.

and from a shop shop a mortar and pestle. I have already started grinding the purple shells – I aim to make my own paint.

I am so looking forward to when the co-op reopens and sharing these resources. I really do believe that it is important to share skills, and that it is so much better for the environment for less people to go out and buy their own so if we share it is win win.

and I made a dado rail so kids can fill these frames with their art.

three session
