You know how wee kids often have a thing about bags and putting random stuff in them and carting them around… well I think that that is because that is what they see, adults moving stuff from one place to another in seemingly random ways. I currently feel that is what I have specialised in over the course of my life. I am an expert, if I wasn’t before the flood I sure am now. First we dried as well as we could the rehersal room and moved everything into that one room! Then properly dried the rest of the carpets and moved everthing out of the now wettest room. Then the carpets had to come up (something not nice in the water) — moving stuff number three. Then knowing that the process of getting new carpet would take probably ages we moved furniture again to make the co-op useable and nice.

and it was beautiful too…
But now the lino that was under the carpet had been found to contain asbestos. While the lino was covered and sealed it was fine but now it is exposed I feel reluctant to have kids on it. So we wait. And I guess I will be moving furniture again…

I LOVE science… the tests have shown there is no ASBESTOS. Choice. It will make the carpet laying so much easier and safer for the workers.
